Fat-Berry is a website dedicated to fashion, by students, for students. We look at fashion from the outlook of a beginner, not a professional. The site is great if your studying fashion, want to go int ofashion journalism, or just love dressing up!
We have articles on all things fashion and lifestyle, blogs on random daily observations, hair and make up tutorials, and interviews with people in the industry including models and designers with tips on how to get started.
It's run by Farah and Jaz, two 18 year olds from Birmingham, UK. Farah studies fashion and next September will hopefully be going to London to pursue her studies at a top notch uni. Jaz is about to embark on her gap year before also going to uni to do Drama and English. Not a designer, she instead loves to write and is interested in journalism.
Things I like
Fat-Berry, colour, funkyness, originality, absurdity, playfullness, emu's and plattypuss's, afro's, wild hair, escapism, politics, literature, film, art, travel, coffee, cake, challenges, blogging, interviewing, fashion journalism, being excited, submissions, comments.
Things I dislike
Boring clothes, taking the easy route, uniform, shallowness, ignorance, unoriginality, cold, whinging, clingy people, Topshop and other high street stores.
What I wear
Fat-Berry is for everyone regardless of your personal style, but persoanlly we wear a cocktail of vintage, high street basics and stuff lying around. Grungy-punk-hobo-vintage-chic. Made bright colours. Patterned tights. A hat named Pattie covered in badges. Huge, tacky, plactic jewellry. Wigs and lots of them. Stuff that stands out. Stuff that looks ridunkulous.
People I admire
Anyone amazing. Anyone who pushes the boundaries of acceptable fashion. People who dare to be different.
Brands I’m into
Not into 'brands'. We like second hand, hand me downs, vintage, and hand made stuff. If it has to be a brand, it will be high street, but updated and personalized. We can't afford designers, we're students!
Music I listen to
Anything that floats our boat.

Coffee shops, Jaz's sofa, Farah's bedroom, vintage shops, cheap cafes, Moseley Village (in Brum), anywhere thats fun.
Most happy when
We are waltzing around in bright, wonderful clothes, laughing, having an amazing time and being happy.
Or when people visit the site. :)
Hopes and fears
We hope that the site will attract lots of like minded visitors and expand. We want to eventually make and sell our own small items via the site, and would love to get lots of people involved.
