eve is a label that aims to create an intimate relationship between the clothes and the consumer, allowing the consumer’s personality to shine through. Fusing hard and soft fabrics to create pieces that allow the consumers to feel free and confident in our tropical climate and also to design for the different characters and personalities that are here in a common place, Singapore.
To provide comfort, quality and style to a women on the go, in a tropical climate, is something that eve wants to achieve. From the fabric choices to the design details, we aim to create garments that can be effortlessly layered, dressed up or down for any occasion, to provide the women in Singapore the flexibility that they need in this multicultural, fast paced society.
With Summers all year round, woven fabrics are meticulously chosen and designed to bring comfort and ease, and by blending it with quality knit fabrics, which are staples in our tropical climate, we aim to create a unique take on clothing for women in Singapore.
The Designer
Eve graduated from Raffles Design Institute with a degree in Fashion Design. She was a finalist in the Triumph Inspirational Award in 2009. She also represented Singapore in the Aquafina Fashion show in Vietnam and was awarded Best Collection in 2009.
Eve has always been inspired to encounter many different cultures and lifestyles from all over the world. A free spirit with an endless passion for life, she aims to create clothing that translates exactly that.
As a young women herself, she wants to see confidence and comfort from women of all ages, because they deserve it. "I want women to feel strong and free, fun and lively. Age is just a number, what matters most is the spirit. Let that spirit run free and experience the world with an open heart. With this believe, I wish to translate that into clothing and have everyone experience that freedom that they deserve."
Cottage Secrets
Our debut collection, Cottage Secret, is inspired by Old English Cottages. The mood of which is a slow, charming & cosy place where time seems to hold still, unshaken & natural.
Eve creates this mood by mixing hard & soft fabrics - the very unique Indian silk weave with modal jersey. The result is a balance of wearability and sheer elegance. The Indian silk fabric creates a very strong detail while the jersey drapes with effortless elegance.
This collection focuses mainly on drapery and a loose silhouette to create depth and also to allow the clothes to speak and move with the women's body.
